The Park

$333.00

My sister at the park, with my dad’s head making an appearance in the foreground.

I don't entirely know why I needed to paint this one. Maybe it was her expression. Maybe it was my dad. Maybe it was all the strangers scattered around them, completely absorbed in their own lives—including the woman in the background looking unnecessarily sexy for an afternoon at the park.

There's something about this moment that feels charged for me.

I don't know what it's trying to tell me yet. I painted it anyway.
