This guy has been an ongoing joke between my sister and me for years. He came from a hilarious vintage painting we found and have been secretly passing back and forth ever since. She’d hide him in my bathroom. I’d put him in a tree in her backyard. He has appeared in places no serious portrait ever should.
So naturally, I painted him.
I made this smaller version so she wouldn’t see him coming. Part painting, part sibling prank, and proof that sometimes the things worth making are simply the things that make you laugh.
